An Old Fashioned Fourth of July
Celebrate the Fourth of July in Stowe, during An Old-Fashioned Fourth of July. This family-friendly, day-long celebration features parades, food, music, fireworks and more. Start the day with the Moscow Parade at 10 a.m. and end the day with an impressive firework display at the Mayo Events Field for the best view in town. Vermont Renaissance Faire
Step back in time for the 4th Annual Vermont Renaissance Faire! This is a two-day event taking place June 22-23, 2019 at the Mayo Events Field in Stowe. The Faire will feature artisans and craft vendors from across New England; beer, wine, mead and cider makers from around Vermont. Also offering local food vendors, a dedicated kids area, musicians, dancers, medieval encampments, fight demos, a joust and more. Come in Garb, come with your friends, come to Vermont.
Vermont Maple Open House Weekend: March
Maple Open House Weekend celebrates the first crop of the season as Vermont`s sugar makers will open the doors of their sugarhouses, inviting visitors in to experience and enjoy this remarkable time of year when pure Vermont maple syrup is made. Whether it`s the sight of steam rising from the sugarhouse, the inviting aroma of boiling sap, or the sweetly divine flavor of syrup as enjoyed in traditional sugar-on-snow, visitors are treated to an experience for the senses!
Sugar Slalom: April
The Stowe Sugar Slalom is one of the most recognized alpine races in America. The two-day event can attract over 1,000 avid racers and up to 600 spectators. All participants are invited to dress up in costumes best representing our theme, a Spring Celebration. Originating as a celebration of the arrival of Spring and the tapping of maple trees, the Sugar Slalom is held in a Mardi Gras atmosphere complete with music, barbecue on the hill, fantastic ski racing and festive costumes. To top it all, the race also features a unique Vermont treat, maple syrup on snow, donuts and pickles at the finish. More information on registration will be provided at a later date.
The Stowe Weekend of Hope - May
The Stowe Weekend of Hope offers a healthy, inspirational retreat weekend for cancer survivors and their families. The annual forum offers education, enlightenment, inspiration and retreat in the restorative environment of Stowe. This enriching experience is unique in that it provides support for the survivor, the care giver, and family members.
Stowe Foliage Arts Fest: October
Fall is Festival time in Vermont and Stowe celebrates the absolute zenith of foliage color with the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival. 200 juried artisans exhibit and sell a wide range of contemporary and traditional craft work as well as original Art, photography, sculpture, and specialty food products. 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily over Columbus Weekend/Indigenous Peoples Day Kids free Free Parking No Pets
Art on Park Summer Series
Every Thursday night through the summer, the Art on Park features a variety of handcrafted products: paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, birch bark art, soy candles, furniture, handbags, hats, jewelry, children`s items, specialty foods & teas, live music and more! June 28 – September 6 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. (NO July 5) Wednesday July 4 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Antique Car Show
The 67th Annual Vermont Antique & Classic Car Meet – August 2024 will be at Farr Field, 1901 U.S. Rt.2 Waterbury, Vermont. 800 antique & classic cars are on display.
